Troubleshooting : Bluetooth connection drops out
Connect Your Speaker to Wi-Fi
Your speaker needs to be connected to a local 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz Wi-Fi network for the Bluetooth connection to work. Public Wi-Fi networks will not work with any Google Home devices.
Download the Google Home app from the App Store or Google Play.
Follow the in-app instructions to set up your speaker.
Pair your speaker with your audio device.
After the initial pairing, your speaker and audio device will auto-connect when they are switched on and within range of each other (10 meters).
Move the Speaker or Audio Device
The most likely causes of Bluetooth dropping out are that your speaker and audio device are too far apart, affected by obstacles, or interfered with by electrical fields.
Move the speaker or audio device closer to each other, so that they are within 10 metres, and unobstructed by obstacles such as walls or doors.
The Bluetooth connection can be disturbed by electrical devices that use the same frequency range, such as wireless network adapters or fluorescent lights. Move the speaker to another spot or turn off or move the interfering electronic device.
Factory Reset
If the issue persists, perform a factory reset to return the speaker to its original settings. This will delete all user settings and you need to set up the speaker again.
Follow these steps to perform a factory reset:
Press and hold both the Source and Play/Pause button for 10 seconds.
The Source LEDs will all flash quickly to confirm the reset was successful.
Remove Acton II Google Voice from your audio device's Bluetooth list.
Pair again by pushing and holding the Source button for 3 seconds, until the Bluetooth indicator starts to blink. Activate Bluetooth on your audio device and select Acton II Google Voice from the Bluetooth list.
