Troubleshooting: There is no TV sound

Short answer

Check that you have connected the soundbar to an eARC/ARC HDMI port on the TV. Check the volume on the TV and the soundbar and the audio settings in the Marshall app.

HDMI ports

  • Check that you have connected the soundbar to an eARC/ARC HDMI port on the TV.

  • Read your TV’s user manual for information about HDMI support, settings, and labelling of ports.

Audio settings

  • Check the volume on the TV and the soundbar.

  • Check the audio settings in the Marshall app.

Factory reset

A factory reset will reset the soundbar to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.

Note: This will delete all settings, Playlists, Wi-Fi and Heston 60 will need to be set up again.

  1. Remove Heston 60 from the app and Heston 60, and Heston 60 [LE] if present, from your sound device’s Bluetooth list.

  2. Ensure that the soundbar is connected to mains power.

  3. Push Source control until all LEDs blink and the soundbar restarts.

  4. Heston 60 has returned to its factory settings and is ready to be paired.
