Troubleshooting: Erratic behaviour
Short answer
Ensure that Heston 60 has the latest firmware version in the Marshall app. Unplug it from the mains power, and wait for 15 seconds before plugging it back in. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset.
Orientation
Check that the orientation of the soundbar (on a surface or mounted to a wall) and the reversible user panel is correct in the Marshall app.
Firmware updates
Follow the in-app instructions to ensure that it has the latest firmware version.
Hardware reset
Unplug Heston 60 from the mains power, and wait for 15 seconds before plugging it back in.
Factory reset
A factory reset will reset the soundbar to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.
Note: This will delete all settings, Playlists, Wi-Fi and Heston 60 will need to be set up again.
Remove Heston 60 from the app and Heston 60, and Heston 60 [LE] if present, from your sound device’s Bluetooth list.
Ensure that the soundbar is connected to mains power.
Push Source control until all LEDs blink and the soundbar restarts.
Heston 60 has returned to its factory settings and is ready to be paired.
