Register Heddon

Heddon and the Auracast technology it uses to send audio around your home, is a new type of product for Marshall. We expect the experience to evolve through customer feedback and we recommend you register your products to ensure your voice is heard and get personalised support.

We’ll let you know as soon as there are new features or firmware updates.

ENABLE AURACAST ON SPEAKERS

Your compatible speaker comes LE-audio prepared and updating it to the latest firmware will enable LE-audio and Auracast. Use the Marshall app (black with brass logo) to set up your speaker. If prompted, complete the speaker firmware update. Only turn on one speaker at a time while preparing them.

For existing owners

To ensure a clean installation, a factory reset of the speaker will remove any previous connected devices.

CONNECT YOUR SPEAKERS TO HEDDON

  1. Put Heddon in setup mode Push the button on Heddon for 3 seconds, until the red LED on the front starts pulsing. This puts Heddon in setup mode for 3 minutes.

  2. Turn on the speaker Set the speaker to more than mid volume.

  3. Connect your speakers

    • Acton III, Stanmore III & Woburn III: Quickly double press the media control button (next to the power switch) on each speaker and you will hear a success sound.

    • Acton IV, Stanmore IV: Long press the M button on each speaker and you will hear a success sound.

  4. Start the music Play music on your streaming app and select Heddon as the audio output using Airplay, Cast or Connect and turn up the volume on your device.

  5. Turn up the volume Turn up the volume on your stream and then adjust on each speaker for best sound. All your speakers are now playing together.

USING THE MEDIA CONTROL BUTTON WITH HEDDON

The media control button on your speaker has a different behaviour when listening via Heddon.

  • Press once to mute or unmute

  • Double press to leave or join the Heddon broadcast
