Troubleshooting: Cannot connect or pair with a Bluetooth device

Short answer

Turn Bluetooth off, and then back on again on your audio device. Make sure that the speaker is turned on before setting it in pairing mode.

Restart Bluetooth

Turn Bluetooth off, and then back on again on your audio device.

POWER ON

Make sure that the speaker is turned on before setting it in pairing mode.

START PAIRING

  1. Use the Source selector button to select Bluetooth.

  2. Push the Source selector button for 2 seconds until the Bluetooth source LED turns to a slow pulse.

  3. Select Bromley 750 from your audio device’s Bluetooth list.

RESETTING BROMLEY 750

A factory reset will reset the speaker to its original settings, excluding any firmware updates.

Note: This will delete all user settings and the speaker will need to be set up again.

  1. Remove BROMLEY 750, and BROMLEY 750 [LE] if present, from your sound device’s Bluetooth list.

  2. Ensure that the speaker is on.

  3. Push and hold both the Source selector, the M-button and the Bluetooth button for 10 seconds. All indicators on the front starts blinking and the speaker restarts.

The speaker has returned to its factory settings and is ready to be paired.
