Short answer

You can replace the strap, silicone case and front grille on your Marshall Willen II speaker.

Replacing the fastening strap

Before starting the procedure, make sure that you are working in a well-lit, clean and clutter free area.

Removing the old fastening strap
  1. Unhook the lower right corner of the strap.

  2. Pull on the strap to stretch it over the pin on the top left of corner of the speaker and remove it.

  1. Position the hole on the new strap over the pin on the top left corner of the speaker.

  2. Gently work the strap around the pin until it is fastened into position.

Make sure to recycle your old fastening strap in the correct manner.

Replacing the silicone sleeve

Before starting the procedure, make sure that you are working in a well-lit, clean and clutter free area.

Removing the silicone sleeve
  1. Start by peeling open the silicone around the edges of the front and the back of the speaker.

  2. Work slowly to pull and slide the silicone sleeve off the speaker.

Note: be careful not to damage the speaker.

  1. Make sure that the silicone sleeve is oriented correctly, aligning the holes on the sleeve with the buttons on the speaker.

  2. Gently stretch and slide the silicone sleeve on the speaker. Note: Be careful not to damage the speaker or the sleeve.

  3. Make sure that the sleeve sits correctly around the battery indicator, openings, and buttons.

  4. Push on the sleeve around the buttons and the edge of the front and rear to snap it in place.

Make sure to recycle the old silicone sleeve in a correct manner.

Replacing the front grille

Before starting the procedure, make sure that you are working in a well-lit, clean and clutter free area. You will need a flathead screwdriver to remove the grille.

Note: Removing the grille will expose the speaker driver membrane. Do not touch the membrane as it may damage the driver.

Removing the silicone sleeve
  1. Start by peeling open the silicone around the edges of the front and the back of the speaker.

  2. Work slowly to pull and slide the silicone sleeve off the speaker. Note: be careful not to damage the silicone sleeve or the speaker.

Removing the old front grille
  1. Gently insert the flathead screwdriver at pos 1 and then carefully pry on the grille to lift it.

  2. Continue with prying at pos 2 and 3. Repeat this until the grille comes completely loose.

  3. Remove the front grille.

Attaching the new front grille
  1. Place the new front grille on the speaker and push it in place.

  2. Make sure that the grille is correctly is oriented.

  3. Push on the edges of the grille to secure it in place.

  1. Make sure that the silicone sleeve is oriented correctly, aligning the holes on the sleeve with the buttons on the speaker.

  2. Gently stretch and slide the silicone sleeve on the speaker. Note: Be careful not to damage the speaker or the sleeve.

  3. Make sure that the sleeve sits correctly around the battery indicator, openings, and buttons.

  4. Push on the sleeve around the buttons and the edge of the front and rear to snap it in place.
